Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman's economic development task force has released a report with proposals aimed at making Port Columbus a centerpiece of future regional growth. The Jobs, Expansion and Transportation - or "JET" - task force is calling for expanded flights to the West Coast and Europe, adding bus service between the airport and downtown and creating a business development district around the airport. Coleman announced the creation of the task force during his 2014 State of the City address.
