Ohio's unemployment rate was 5.1 percent in February, unchanged from the previous two months. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says 291 thousand people were unemployed in February, down by 2 thousand from January. Ohio's jobless rate is below the national rate for February of 5.5 percent. The department says there were job gains last month in sectors including construction, manufacturing, leisure, hospitality, and trade, transportation and utilities.
