Feds To Join Miami University Student's Discrimination Lawsuit

The U.S. Department of Justice wants to join a visually-challenged Miami University student's federal lawsuit accusing the school of using technology that is a barrier to her education.  Aleeha Dudley's January 2014 lawsuit accuses the school of failing to provide equal access.  The Justice Department alleges the university violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to ensure individuals with disabilities can interact with computer systems equally with students without disabilities. Miami continues to deny wrongdoing and says it does accommodate disabled students.
