Pro-Marijuana Group Releases Study Of Impact Of Legalization

Republican Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters, who heads a task force on marijuana legalization, says his group has conducted an analysis of the potential impacts of decriminalization. Deters was asked to chair the Marijuana Policies of Ohio Taskforce by ResponsibleOhio, the group advancing a legalization amendment toward the November ballot.  Deters says the report looks at how legalization might affect law enforcement, public safety, public health and the economy. The report projects 30 thousand jobs will be created, and legalizaton will have an economic impact of seven billion dollars.
