A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Republican Ohio Governor and presidential candidate John Kasich is third among Ohio Republicans, behind Donald Trump and Ben Carson. The governor has 13 percent of GOP support in Ohio, down from 27 percent in a similar poll released in August. Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles reports.
Kasich has touted he is popular in Ohio and has great influence in this key swing state, but poll director Peter Brown says Kasich’s campaign is “going in the wrong direction”. Vice President Joe Biden has 21% and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has 19%. The poll shows Clinton beats Trump, but she’s virtually tied with some other possible Republican candidates in a head to head general election.
