Judicial Injunction Allows Two SW Ohio Abortion Clinics To Remain Open

A federal judge has ruled the last two abortion clinics in southwest Ohio may remain open while fighting to keep their state operating licenses. The clinics sought the injunction as part of  their lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of abortion restrictions approved in the two most recent state budgets that are medically unnecessary. Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio and Women's Med Group in Dayton were denied variances from the state to operate without a required transfer agreement with a nearby hospital in emergencies. The state has declined comment.
