A former Republican state representative removed from his seat following a felony theft conviction says he will run for Congress against Democratic incumbent Marcy Kaptur. A july last July found Sandusky real estate agent and auctioneer Steve Kraus guilty of taking antiques from a Port Clinton home without the owner's permission. An appeal is pending. Kraus says he believes the conviction was retribution for his surprise election victory last year.
