The Franklin County Coroner says the Ohio State University student who died after jumping into Mirror Lake on Wednesday broke his neck. Preliminary autopsy results show 22-year-old Austin Singletary sustained a fracture of his C-5 vertebra during the plunge. Additional testing could take six or seven weeks to determine a final cause of death. Ohio State says it's moving to end the annual student-led event, though it is not yet clear how.
