A former Delaware County zoning inspector has been indicted on a theft-in-office charge. Prosecutors say 64-year-old Thomas Farahay has admitted to stealing nearly 1 thousand dollars in permit fees for personal use while working for Orange Township, then falsifying financial records to cover the theft. Farahay was fired last June.
