Passenger traffic at Port Columbus rose by 15 percent in November as compared with the same month a year ago, due mainly to an increase in the number of flights offered. The Columbus Regional Airport Authority says more than 582 thousand people used the airport last month, and the nearly 4 thousand flights offered is up four percent. Agency officials also credit the passenger increase to airlines using larger planes and and extra day of travel over the Thanksgiving holiday period.
