Clarett Due In Court To Face OVI Charge

Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett is scheduled to appear in a Morrow County courtroom Thursday to face an OVI charge. The Ohio Highway Patrol cited the 32-year-old on Sunday on I-71 during a traffic stop. Troopers were responding to reports of an erratic driver. Troopers say he refused to undergo field-sobriety and blood-alcohol tests. Clarett was sent to prison in 2006 on robbery and other charges. He has struggled with drug and alcohol problems since leaving OSU.
