Wife Of Lancaster Mayor Pleads Not Guilty To Theft Charges

Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

The wife of Lancaster Mayor Brian Kuhn has pleaded not guilty to theft, racketeering and other charges for allegedly embezzling money to support her gambling addiction. Fairfield County prosecutors say 47-year-old Bridget Kuhn embezzled 400 thousand dollars from three Lancaster businesses and organizations while working as their bookkeeper. She is free on a 100 thousand dollar bond. Mayor Kuhn says the allegations won't affect his ability to lead the city. He has not said if he knew about the alleged crimes.
