Eighteen Columbus firefighters are facing possible disciplinary action for throwing an alcohol-fueled party at a closed fire station. The firefighters are accused of drinking in a city-owned building last year while moving out of Station 2, which was being closed to make way for a new facility. Groundbreaking on that facility is scheduled for Friday. An internal investigation found vandals are responsible for widespread damage inside the closed building.
