Schwarzenegger Endorses Kasich

Ohio Governor John Kasich kicked off his Republican presidential statewide campaign yesterday in Columbus. Kasich headlined a rally with former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who endorsed Kasich. Ohio Public Radio's Andy Chow reports.

While discussing the tough nature of this year’s presidential race, Kasich shared a piece of advice he got from Schwarzenegger on how to handle negative campaigns.
 
Kasich: “He said ‘John, love the beatings, love them.’ And I’ve been loving them ever since. And it’s great. It’s like, moguls, ‘eat up the moguls John,’ that’s what he told me.”
 
Kasich has said in the past that he would drop out of the race is he doesn’t win Ohio.
