The woman charged for her role in a Franklinton hotel shooting will serve 15 years in prison. 20-year-old Ariana Ruddock was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in the shooting death of 25-year-old David Duff. Police say 24-year-old William Greene killed Duff in fight over a bogus lottery ticked that was used as payment for crack cocaine. Ruddock was Greene's companion at the time of the March, 2014 shooting. Greene has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced later this year.
