Some Parents Protest Local School District's Pay-To-Play Fees

Some parents in the New Albany-Plain Local schools  are preparing to fight the implementation of pay-to-play fees. A group of parents marched to last night's school board meeting to protest the district's 625 dollar fee for high school sports and activities. It is the highest in Ohio, and was established in 2014 after a levy failure. Board members say there could be some relief with an influx of property tax revenue from new housing developments.
