Former Ohio College Student Found Guilty Of Killing Her Newborn

Muskingum University

A former Muskingum College student accused of giving birth to a baby girl in her sorority house bathroom, putting her in a trash bag and leaving it outside of her sorority house has been found guilty of aggravated murder. A Muskingum County jury issued a quick verdict Friday in the trial of 21-year-old Emile Weaver. She testified she thought the baby was already dead when she put her in the bag in April of 2015. Weaver also was convicted of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
