Hilliard Officer Killed In Training Accident

A Hilliard police officer was killed yesterday in a motorcycle crash during an on-duty training exercise. The crash at State Route 161 and I-270 claimed the life of Sean Johnson, who was training to ride as part of the department's traffic control unit. Johnson is the first Hilliard police officer to be killed in the line of duty. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
