Wife Of Lancaster Mayor To Be Sentenced Next Month On Theft Charges

lancastereaglegazette.com

Sentencing is scheduled July 8 for the wife of Lancaster Mayor Brian Kuhn, who pleaded guilty Monday to charges of embezzling from her former employer and a veterans group to support a gambling addiction. 48-year-old Bridget Kuhn  embezzled 300 thousand dollars from Frazier Electric, where she worked as a bookkeeper. She also embezzled 26 thousand dollars from the local American Legion Post, where she was a bookkeeper. Frazier Electric is owned by her former brother-in-law. Fairfield County prosecutors say they declined to charge the mayor because they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he knew about or was involved in the activities of his wife. Her plea is the result of a deal with prosecutors.
