Ohio's prisons department will pay nearly 13 thousand dollars to settle a lawsuit filed by the family of an inmate who killed himself in his cell at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution three days before his scheduled execution. The family of 44-year-old Billy Slagle filed a negligence suit in July 2014.
