Ohio's unemployment rate is now 5.1 percent, down one-tenth of a point from April. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says today non-farm payrolls increased by 92 hundred in May to nearly 5.5 million. The number of jobless workers last month was 300 thousand, down by 2 thousand from April. Ohio saw job gains in the educational and health services sector and the leisure and hospitality sector. Ohio lost jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors last month.
