A Fairfield County domestic violence suspect is hospitalized in critical but stable condition after being shot by sheriff's deputies Monday. Deputies shot 29-year-old Nicholas Norton at a home on First Street in Pleasantville after he allegedly pointed a gun at them. Norton is facing five criminal counts, including two felony assault charges.
