Convicted Stanford University Rapist Likely To Serve Probation In Ohio

State of California

It's likely the convicted Stanford University rapist will serve his probation sentence in Greene County.  21-year-old Brock Turner, a former Stanford swimmer and former Oakwood resident, wants to be transferred back to Ohio where his parents live. He was sentenced to six months in jail, but hopes he will be allowed to serve three of those months on probation.  He is scheduled to be released from prison in early September.  Turner is convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.
