Republican Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger says GOP state representative Tim Derickson will resign this Sunday to become director of the Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. The previous director, Vanessa Niekamp, resigned in July, months after suing a board member, alleging harassment and discrimination. The Ohio Attorney General's Office determined the board authorized her to practice law without a license by letting her negotiate violation settlements.
