An Ohio Highway Patrol trooper was struck and killed Thursday on I-90 in Lakewood. The patrol says 48-year-old Kenneth Velez was standing outside his cruiser conducting traffic enforcement when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The patrol has not said if an arrest has been made or released any other details.
