County Sheriff's Deputy Indicted For Second Time In Five Years

A Delaware County Sheriff's deputy has been indicted for allegedly trying to steal thousands of dollars while off duty.  James Cuccarese faces theft and forgery charges for allegedly altering checks in an effort to collect 23 thousand dollars from two businesses.  Cuccarese has been suspended without pay while the case continues in the courts. In 2011, Cuccarese was one of three deputies indicted on charges of unauthorized use of property for using an investigative database for unauthorized purposes.
