Defendants In Fatal East Side Robbery Sentenced

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

Two Columbus men were sentenced to prison time this week for a 2014 store robbery in which two accomplices were shot and killed by police officers. 19-year-old Savon Dearmond will serve 11 years and 23-year-old Aarin Clinkscale will serve 14 years. Prosecutors say the two robbed a store on Alum Creek drive. Their accomplices - 18-year-old Qusean Whitten and 20-year-old Elisha Glass - were killed by responding officers.
