Columbus fire officials report no injuries after a ruptured gas line caused an explosion yesterday at a West Broad Street pizza shop. Officials say a company was using a machine to bore beneath the street when it struck a high-pressure gas line. Workers at the shop and a nearby clinic fled the two buildings before the restaurant exploded. Homes and businesses near the scene were evacuated for several hours while the blaze was contained and the gas was shut off.
