Columbus Woman Sentenced In Overdose Death Of Son

A Columbus woman whose 11-month-old son died from ingesting heroin has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges and been sentenced to eight years in prison. Prosecutors say 33-year-old Denise Dickinson's son, Dominic, ingested blue drop heroin, a mixture of heroin and fentanyl, before he stopped breathing  in May 2015. The boy's father, Kyle Black, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter last year and was sentenced to nine years in prison.
