State: Death Row Inmate Takes His Own Life

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction says a death row inmate took his own life Sunday night at a prison in Chillcothe. 47-year-old Patrick Leonard was sentenced to death for the 2000 killing of his ex-girlfriend. The last death row suicide in Ohio was in 2013.
