Champaign County Judge Says Alleged School Shooter Competent To Stand Trial

A Champaign County judge has ruled the teen charged in the West Liberty High School shootings last January is competent to stand trial. Two psychologists evaluated 17-year-old Ely Serna. He has pleaded not guilty to charges  including aggravated murder. Prosecutors will decide next month whether to try him as an adult.
