Chris Holtmann held his first press conference as Ohio State Men's Basketball head coach yesterday. Holtmann says the quality of the university, the athletic program and the passionate fan base all factored into accepting the job. Here is Hotlmann on the style he expects his team to play.
Hotlmann says he'll make recruiting the best players in the state of Ohio a top priority. Despite some speculation surrounding the coaching search, Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith says Holtmann was his number one target for the job.

In three seasons at Butler University, Holtmann compiled a record of 70-31 and earned Big East coach of the year last season. He signed an 8-year contract worth 3 million dollars per year.
