The Columbus man accused of fatally shooting a SWAT officer during a standoff last year has been found guilty by a Franklin County jury. Lincoln Rutledge had pleaded not guilty to killing officer Steven Smith as police were trying to serve an arson warrant in April 2016. A sentencing hearing is scheduled to begin next week.
