The Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission has issued an air quality alert for Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Knox, Madison and Licking Counties today. Ground-level ozone pollution caused by heat and emissions from vehicles and factories will make the air unhealthy for children, the elderly and people with breathing problems. They are advised to limit outdoor activity to the morning and stay in a cool place.
