Member Of Tuskegee Airmen Endorses Drug Price Relief Act
A member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen is joining other veterans in supporting a fall ballot measure forcing state agencies to purchase drugs at prices paid by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Don Elder says he "experienced what it was like to fight bullies that threatened the American way of life" and is doing so again by backing Issue 2. The pharmaceutical industry and associations representing doctors, hospitals, nurses and others oppose the measure. The VFW, American Legion, and Ohio National Guard Association also oppose it.
