The owner of Columbus Crew Soccer Club says he will refund fans for next year's season tickets. Some fans are afraid Anthony Precourt is using the offer to solidify a possible move to Texas, but others are encouraging the community to buy more season tickets to keep the team in Columbus. In a written statement, Mayor Andy Ginther said this week he and other city leaders have scheduled meetings in the near future with Precourt and Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber to discuss ways of keeping the team in the city. Precourt's lease of the state fairgrounds land where the team's stadium is located runs through 2023.
