U.S. House Approves Designating Veterans Memorial In Columbus A National Facility

The U.S. House has approved a bill officially designating the veterans' memorial in Columbus as the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.  Lawmakers say the museum and memorial is within driving distance for millions of veterans. The 75 million dollar downtown facility is scheduled to open in summer of 2018. The bill now goes to the Senate.
