UC Police Chief Resigns

uc.edu

The University of Cincinnati says police chief Anthony Carter resigned on November 23 to take a new position in the university's Institute of Crime Science. Carter is also applying to become the Fairfield police chief. Carter took over for Jason Goodrich in June 2016. Goodrich resigned in the wake of the shooting of Samuel DuBose by then-UC Officer Ray Tensing. Maris Herold takes over for Carter on an interim basis.
