Ohio Triple-A expects a record 107.3 million Americans, including nearly 4.5 million Ohioans, to travel 50 miles or more from home for the holiday period.Ohio Department of Transportation spokesperson Matt Bruning says motorists should expect busy roadways.
The projected travel volume is up 3.1 percent nationally and 3.6 percent in Ohio from last season, and marks the ninth consecutive year of growth. This year's 10-day holiday travel period is one day shorter than last year.
