Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dennis Kucinich has selected an Akron city council member as his running mate.
He describes Tara Mosley-Samples as a highly regarded community leader, volunteer and political activist, and says having a black woman join his ticket demonstrates his commitment to diversity and inclusion as governor.
