The former Clark County firefighter who pleaded guilty to assaulting minors while working as a trainer in his department's cadet program has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. 24-year-old Jonathan Monroe, formerly with the Springfield Township fire department, reported his actions to police last year, partly to prevent victims from having to testify.
