The state has given some Buckeye Lake residents a one-year deadline to dismantle parts of their homes. Ohio Department of Natural Resources officials say notices are going out to waterfront homeowners whose properties encroach on state land. The department says porches, roofs and other structures must go to allow inspectors access to the new Buckeye Lake dam. Residents say those changes will cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars.
