hrc.org

The City of Columbus has again received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign's latest Municipal Equality Index

Sarah Warbelow is a spokesperson for the LGBTQ rights group.

Warbelow says Columbus gets high marks for its municipal policies of inclusiveness. It also scored well for providing services to LGBTQ elderly, those living with HIV/AIDS, and the transgender community, as well as having openly LGBTQ elected or appointed municipal leaders. Toledo got a score of 89 and Cleveland got a score of 81.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
