Franklin County Sheriff's officials say deputies responding to a Waverly home on Wednesday shot and killed the suspect who was wanted on a drug arrest warrant.
Another man was found dead inside the home. Prosecutors say Franklin County deputies were assisting Pike County deputies when those from Franklin County exchanged fire with 44-year-old David Arthur after he fired at them. Investigators are trying to determine how the second man, identified as Barry Leeth, died.
