Prosecutors have dropped assault charges against a Reynoldsburg teacher accused of attacking a Columbus police officer.
Prosecutors cite a lack of evidence in the case against 26-year-old Justin McDowell, who was placed on paid leavefrom Waggoner Road Junior High School in November. Prosecutors said McDowell punched an officer who responded to a crash involving McDowell's vehicle at Hamilton Road and State Route 161.
