Marion fire officials say a woman was killed and a child was hospitalized out of a house fire early this morning.
Authorities say a 61-year-old woman was killed in the blaze at a home on East Fairground Street. A 4-year-old boy is listed in critical condition at a Columbus hospital. A second child was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization. Names have not been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
