The Franklin County Board of Elections Tuesday declined to certify the petitions for two of the ten Columbus City Council candidates, meaning there will be no primary election in May.
The board says petitions from Al Edmondson and Nasandra Wright were invalid or fell short of the number of necessary signatures to qualify for the ballot. Four City Council seats are up for grabs in November.
