JobsOhio Releases Salary Data

Ohio's semi-private job-creation office says its new leader will make 350 thousand dollars this year before benefits and any performance bonus.

JobsOhio released the salary of  J.P. Nauseef and 16 other current and former top executives Thursday amid pressure from Republican Governor Mike DeWine to be more transparent. Former Governor John Kasich and the GOP-led state legislature designed it to be outside the reach of public records laws. Nauseef's redecessor, John Minor, made more than 621 thousand a year. The others made between 170 thousand and 354 thousand.
