Bruins Bounce Jackets From Playoffs

David Krejci, Marcus Johansson and David Backes each scored goals to lead Boston over visting Columbus 3-nothing in Game 6 of their conference semifinal last night, knocking the Blue Jackets out of the NHL playoffs. 

The Bruins won the best-of-seven series four games to two. It marks the end of a historic campaign for the Jackets, who won their first playoff series in franchise history with a shocking upset of top-seed Tampa:
 
That was Jackets coach John Tortorella speaking with reporters last night, hours after he had predicted a game six victory. He says Boston goalie Tuukka Rask was the difference in the series:

Boston will now face the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference final.
