Woman Says Shaker Heights Cop Offered Her Leniency For Sex

A woman has filed a lawsuit against Shaker Heights police, claiming an officer offered her leniency in exchange for sex.

The suit  says the officer coerced the woman into having an encounter last year by telling her he could tear up a misdemeanor citation.  When the officer could not cancel the citation, the woman claims he offered her money to pay the fine. Police officials have yet to comment. A former Columbus vice officer is facing similar allegations.
